Automatic control of up to four different irrigation systems

The GARDENA control unit 4030 Classic allows automatic control of extensive irrigation systems, usually concealed irrigation systems such as the GARDENA one. The 4030 Classic control unit is ideal when the quantity of water is insufficient for the entire system which usually includes several irrigation systems. Even in the case of different water requirements of the individual plants, the controller controls the irrigation intervals for each individual channel, thus enabling optimal individual irrigation. The 4030 Classic control unit is designed to be able to connect up to four 24 V valves (art. 1278-20). For versatile programming, up to three programs can be stored per valve. Irrigation days and cycles can be selected separately; it is possible to set the irrigation duration starting from one minute up to 3 hours 59 minutes and in percentage from 0 to 200%. If it is necessary to start irrigation immediately, it can be activated manually. The large and clear screen with operating indications makes programming easy and intuitive. Thanks to the master channel it is possible to connect the GARDENA pump starter (art. 1273-20) and thus control a pump as an alternative water resource. The GARDENA control unit 4030 Classic can be used indoors, e.g. in the garage and in areas sheltered from rain; the power supply is 230 V. To always guarantee reliable and safe operation of the control unit, it can be protected from a possible interruption in the power supply by means of a 9 V alkaline battery (battery not included). If required, a GARDENA Rain Sensor or Moisture Tester can be connected to save water.
